eeerrrooobbb111 Tanta tanta roba! E' un piacere ascoltarlo e riascoltarlo. Album emotivo e pieno di droni con la ''d'' maiuscola. Lo consiglio vivamente!

imagery archive is an on-going research based on the spontaneousness and intuition of simple gestures compared to a deep sonic memory. the work has been presented in different contexts of the European music research environment within different typologies (radio-art work, sound performance, A\V live, record).
--
Aside of numerous worldwide ambient and electroacoustic releases, the research on musical gesture and sonic memory that “Imagery Archive“ has shown within many European environments from Demetrio Cecchitelli, stands as a solitary approach and attitude to the given meteor of an open structure improvisational system compared to other medias (like for example video, discography, installation, live performance, radio-work). Now on-going, but primarily established in/out 2014 while the first experimentation in the field of active listening and sound art / neo-mode-play practices brought life and shape into the musician awareness. And, here comes the album, after years spent in focusing the perfect ruin of an instrumental non-song, but instead a moving, lively idea. Differently, this one is fully accomplished by drums - played by old fellow Filippo Righetti (Vulva De Leyva / Circa Diana crew), as the more entering into the record the more is the presence of a feeling around themes from slow-core, post-rock and Americana guitar styles, not descending elements of spiritual and contemporary, folk intuitions. Released on a short 40 edition tape press by Oceani collective, mastered by Matt Bordin at Outside Inside Studio, recorded (without overdub, en prese direct) in two days, between February and March 2022.
